Terms and Conditions - please read carefully

All our prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST (Goods and Services Tax).

All items on our website are brand new and come with full manufacturer’s warranty.

Payment Options:

Credit Card transaction

Please note that for Visa or Master Card payments these are processed through PayPal.

There is no fee for credit card payments through PayPal. All transactions are carried out via our secure shopping cart and no credit card details are taken over the phone. For payments by Visa or Master Card through PayPal and for PayPal payments please allow that day for clearance.

Bank Transfer (Direct Deposit Requirements)

When making an online transaction, please enter in your order number/tax invoice number into the narration field or subject field so we can match your transaction/payment to your order.

If making a payment across the counter at a Bank, please supply our bank details that you received with your online order or that is on your tax invoice. Also supply your order number/tax invoice number so we can match your transaction/payment to your order.

BPAY

For payments by BPAY you need to wait for us to email you your tax invoice to obtain your BPAY reference number. This is supplied only during business hours and the reference number is NOT your order number. Your order number is generated for your tax invoice number only. When you are emailed your tax invoice number with your BPAY reference number then you can either make this transaction over the phone or online through your bank. When we receive your transaction it already has the reference number where accounts match your transaction/payment to your order. 

Delivery Insurance

All goods sent out by Affordable Laptops by their associated manufacturer's distributors are fully insured and we accept responsibility for the Goods in Transit. Please make sure you check your item/s immediately as once signed for delivery then the goods are no longer insured in transit as they have been declared signed off and delivered.

Delivery Method

For most items we use an Approved National Carrier. It depends on which wholesaler/distributor the item is sent out from but in most cases it is Star Trak Express, Air Road, Toll etc. For air express it is Star Trak Express. An email is sent to you with the link to the freight company website as well as the tracking number to track your delivery online and the contact number of the freight company. For some items we occasionly use Australia Post or certain couriers including the wholesaler’s/distributor's driver if required.

Dead On Arrival (not working/no start DOA/with a fault):

Dead On Arrival Items (not working/no start DOA/with a fault) is covered for 14 days from receiving your laptop notebook.

If you find that your product arrives as a DOA or with a fault then we must be contacted on 08 9536 8500 or through our support page describing in detail what is wrong with your product.

If it is found that your product is actually a faulty product then your unit is usually replaced by the wholesaler/distributor upon receiving the DOA item back to their warehouse for inspection. Freight to our wholesaler/distributor is organised by the manufacturer, our wholesaler/distributor and paid for by Affordable Laptops. Please make sure that you are certain that the product is (not working/no start DOA and it is not your own software that is at fault).

If our wholesaler/distributor finds the unit not to be (not working/no start DOA) then you will be charged for that assessment time as well as freight costs to and from the manufacturer/wholesaler/distributor in Austraia.

Warranty Period

Warranty for your purchase is covered by the manufacturer/supplier. The warranty period is stated on your tax invoice and starts from the date of the tax invoice. If you need to contact us for warranty then please call 08 9536 8500 or send the information through to our support page.

Online ordering errors due to compatibility

The website software we use is up to date and designed to be compatible with most browser software. If there is an error in your online order due to the browser software that you use and cannot be reproduced by our website software company, then we reserve the right to cancel an order and if payment had been made a full refund is given back to the customer.

Promotions and bonus items

If there is a promotion or bonus item offered on our website then this can only be applied/offered where it is on your order confirmation email that you receive when you place your online order and where we receive a duplicate.

Returns Policy

14 day replacement or refund guarantee if item is at fault no matter where you are in Australia.

If you find you have any fault with your laptop within 14 days of recieving your purchase please contact us immediately on 08 9536 8500 or submit the information at the bottom of return policy page.

All returns that are faulty are assigned an RA number and will be picked up from your nomintated address in Australia and brought back free of charge to the laptop manufacturer's service centre in Australia.

If the fault is within the manufacturer's guidelines we will have a replacement sent to you by free insured delivery or a refund given if you prefer not to accept a replacement.

Please check your laptop before you load any personal software. A replacement will not be done if we find out that the fault is software related not from the original software that was pre-installed on your machine (full charges including delivery may occur).

We are not obliged to accept returns or offer a credit for WRONG CHOICE.

We will NOT accept returns for openend software purchase, the software is a licensed product and when you open the packaging you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the license.
